How to manage disk partitions without using softwares

When we buy a new laptop or pc, we only have 1 partition as the system drive and storage drive, and it may cause a problem when the windows or operating system has crashed or damaged, our personal data will be lost due to recovery system, so here it is the way how to devide our drive into more than 1 partition :

1. Go to windows explorer

2. right click on the "this pc icon"  choose manage

3. Find storage and click disk management

4. Right click on drive c (windows) then choose shrink volume

5. Wait a second (it takes time to querying disk space depends on your computer speed )

6.enter the amount of space to shrink, if you have 512 Gb disk, so enter 34000 mb, so youll get around 120000 mb (120 gb after shrink) on your druve C

7. Then click shrink

8. Now we have to create partition to be a storage disk

9. Right click on unallocated space and choose new simple volume

10. Choose Next, next, next then create the volume label (e.g DATA) next again and click finish to complete the setting

Now u have storage disk on ur laptop
